"One of my first redesign
projects was for a large family who had
moved to Bucks County from the mid-west more than a
year before I met them. Yet, their house still felt
unsettled. We started with a One Day Room Makeover
and later did the entire home, room by room. I felt
truly rewarded when I heard that one of the children
told his grandparents, ‘The house is finally
starting to feel like home since mom started working

Another client was a woman
whose dining room was just filled with stuff.
She had beautiful pieces, but they were hidden in
the clutter. Applying our use what you own
philosophy, we redesigned her living room and dining
room, focusing on the most exceptional pieces in her
collection and complementing them with carefully
chosen accessories. Her very emotional response to
the finished room surprised me at first. Then she
explained that we had chosen to showcase many of her
mother’s china serving pieces – beloved items that
brought back fond memories. |
